Neil has been a key driving force behind our data driven, strategic workforce planning initiative looking at the future numbers and skills required of our industry.  

 

As an integral part of our team, Neil’s work is to predict the future workforce levels and skills needs of the industry by identifying gaps and shortages, allowing us to put strategies in place to best deal with the future demands of the sector as a whole. 

 

Following the work done by Neil and the team, we have begun working towards the shift in skills that is required within the sector, as a result of the developments in technology and operating environments. This will likely change the makeup of jobs and put greater urgency on recruiting and upskilling people with higher and more technologically focused skill sets.

 

Neil’s insight has been invaluable and he has been a key member of the team our understanding of how the future demands of the industry will impact productivity, emerging skills needs, and efficiency.
